This International Study Group is intended to bring Unitarians, Universalists and others interested in liberal religion from around the world together to study themes of common interest. This course will help participants clarify and deepen their understanding of their liberal religious faith from an international perspective by exploring and reflecting on the central role of the enlightenment in the formation of our religious faith, its history, its philosophical origins, great ideals, different schools of thought, contradictions, and current relevance.
Participation will be limited to 15 people. Meetings will be held the 4th Saturday of the month from 19:00-21:00 Central European time, 10:00 am-12:00pm Pacific Time for a period of 6 months (April- November).
